Nature abhors a vacuum they say. Give people options that meet their needs for nourishment, pleasure and social connection that they can choose instead of a slice of suffering... since at present they have a strong association between that edible item and pleasure. As we share our insights of peaceful living on the planet with others, we all make new distinctions and preferences (including the wellbeing of animals) and create the shift you seek. It's amazing the rise in consciousness around this topic in the past decade. For example, this rise in consciousness includes many many organic raw vegan tasty food products being made available to the public in health food stores and even mainstream grocery stores like Safeway. Keep offering this support, education and superior alternatives, and we pave the way for those who will. Also realize with so many foods we are dealing with biochemistry of addiction on top of habituation within peoples minds and bodies. We live in a culture of addiction where the addiction is seen as normal and even healthy. Beyond a lecture or horrorshow most will need major social support and education (that they invite) at very least. Compassion for all through our process of expansion. Blessings to us all. I believe there is "pure positive" feelings all around. I also can't believe it's taken my this long to realize it. I wake up everyday thankful for having the opportunity to be alive and healthy. I also wake up everyday telling myself "Today will be a good day." And I noticed how much better I feel and look forward to my daily task. You know I felt the same way. I shared it with my cousin because I am excited about this, however, it didn't turn out well. Our conversation went nowhere. After that I understood what Abraham said, in one of those videos...for me I learned from that video, it's better to wait, until you are asked about your disposition then it's best time to share, because the person is ready/ open minded: otherwise the opposite party might think you are pushing your beliefs onto them. I felt my cousin was not ready to hear what I had to say, but I left her something to ponder about. So I keep the enthusiasm to myself and go about my business. I do mention it occasionally to my best friend but not all of it, just a little parable/concept here and there. ( I am talking in parable now he hee ) I do want to share it but if the person is not ready to hear about Abraham's teachings, then the information will be discarded thoughtlessly. Now I just use my discretion because one never can go far if you are viewed as “pushy”. For example, last week on the way home from work with my best friend, the subway was delayed a bit. This is Toronto subway. Even though it was for five minutes or so, one man could not wait.. he turned to the doors and forced the doors opened and squeezed himself out of that subway. The train was stopped at the platform with doors closed at that time. Everybody was watching and appalled at his sudden behaviour. We all know by doing that, it could cause the door mechanism to jam up and hence put the train out of service. As soon as he got off, the train started to move. Most people in the train started to laugh including myself. I turned to my girlfriend and said, 'See what I told you, about going Downstream? This man is going Upstream. If he would have waited and go with the flow, he would have got home sooner. Now he has to wait for another train' This is just one of the incidents I witnessed but I now see the co-relation.. The messages are very clear and uplifting. I have learned so many things and so much. I also learned to view situations in different lights now. All these years of searching now I know the connection I was looking for, I knew it, I felt it and now I know what I am doing in respect how to connect to my spiritual Source. It's the 'missing link' for me, it's the link that binds and guides me .Now that I know, it's like someone had opened a window and I realized there is a flower garden out there...why haven't I noticed that window before? The view is marvelous. This is magnificent. Bravo! There is nothing I don’t love about Abraham-Hicks videos. The messages are very clear and uplifting. I have learned so many things and so much.
